Russell Anderson, age 80, of 303 Second Street, Unadilla, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Ben F. Anderson and Elizabeth Maude Floyd Anderson. He retired from Complete Auto Transit, was a former Unadilla City Councilman and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Anderson and his son, Rusty Anderson.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, September 22 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8PM Thursday, September 20 and 6-8PM Friday, September 21 at the funeral home.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
