Rudolph "Monk" Royal, age 81, of 559 Royal Road, Unadilla died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Fitz Lee Royal, Sr. and Mae Plymale Royal. He was a retired farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 27 at Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery in Dooly County. Rev. Benji Dyal will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, March 26 at the funeral home or may be contacted at the residence of Tommy Royal, 386 Royal Road, Unadilla, Georgia 31091.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
