Royce A. Mixon, age 73, of 509 Mt. Vista Road, Stone Mountain, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late Homer Price Mixon and Pearl Elizabeth Fields Mixon. He was the owner/operator of Hydraulic Service Company for 38 years and the widower of Norma Sangster Mixon. Mr. Mixon enjoyed coaching recreation baseball and basketball and. He enjoyed his family and was proud of the fact that he maintained his independence for the past several years through illness.

Sons: Robert Mixon (Edwinna) of Cumming
Mark Mixon (Tara) of Loganville
Sister: Joyce Kimbrough of Vienna
Brother: Edward Mixon of Greer, SC
Grandchildren: Alexis King, Jimmy Lee Mixon, Colson Mixon and Logan Mixon
Great Grandchild: Chloe Leigh Mixon
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, April 24 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Lane Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 7 - 9 PM Friday, April 23 at the funeral home.
