Roy Scarborough, Jr

Services for Roy Scarborough, Jr., age 71, of Unadilla, will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, July 14 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Dr. Bob Murphy will officiate and burial will follow in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
Mr. Scarborough died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Grafton Leroy Scarborough and Alda Faulk Scarborough. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and a retired furniture salesman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include:
Wife: Mary M. Scarborough of Unadilla
Sisters: Elgene Busby of Unadilla
Florice Peavy of Unadilla
Luthene Bush of Orange Park, FL
His daughter, Cynthia Scarborough, preceded him in death.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Sunday, July 13 at the funeral home.
