Roy Hamsley

Roy E. Hamsley, age 80, of 4984 Pinehurst-Hawkinsville Highway, Unadilla, died Friday, October 10, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Melvin Hamsley and Alice Glenn Hamsley.  Roy was a self-employed logger and could fix or build just about anything.  More than anything else, he loved his family.

Wife:  Pam Hamsley of Unadilla

Son:  Jason Hamsley (Heather) of Valdosta

Daughter:  Lynn Karademir of Cape Canaveral, FL

A private graveside service for family only will be held at 3 PM Sunday, October 12 in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 1 - 3 PM Sunday, October 12 in Harmony Baptist Church.
