Rose Hand

Rose Marie Hand, age 65, of 4137 Slosheye Trail, Vienna, died Saturday, September 3, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Baxley, she was the daughter of the late Austin Hand, Sr. and Lillie Etta Johns Hand.  Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping.  Her greatest love was her family and the time she spent with them.

Survivors include: Children: Hank Hand (Colleen) of Hazlehurst Jimmy Hesters (Latrell) of Hazlehurst Rebecca Deaton of Thomson Hubert Deaton of Vienna Tracy Farmer (Amos) of Unadilla Rodney Driggers of Baxley Jessica Deaton (Jose Zamudio) of Vienna

Sister:  Loretta Harder (Frank) of Bonaire

Brothers: Doffis Hand (Shirley) of Hazlehurst Jack Hand (Venita) of Hazlehurst Rex Hand of Vienna

Uncle:  Bill Johns (Paula) of Hazlehurst

Grandchildren:  18

Great Grandchildren:  21

Best Friend:  LInda Crook of Byromville

She was preceded in death by her son, J. R. Deaton, Jr. and her siblings, Shirley Hand, Arlie Mae Hand, Austin Hand, Jr., Jimbo Hand and Joann Jeffcoat.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM Tuesday, September 6 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla.  Following the service, cremation will take place.

Viewing and visitation will be 2 - 4 PM Tuesday, September 6 at the funeral home.
