Ronnie J. Leavens, age 58, of 300 Whitfield Road, Elko, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Montezuma, he was the son of the late John Leavens and Beatrice Baisden Leavens. Ronnie was the owner/operator of Leavens Properties. He was a hard-working, amazing man full of love, laughter and always lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger and would do anything in his power to help anyone in need. He loved people and life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Wife: Sheila B. Leavens of Elko
Sons:
John C. Leavens (Serrena) of Baxley
Seth Bowman of Hawkinsville
Phillip Wilkes of Elko
Daughter: Scarlett Wilkes of Elko
Grandson: Andrew Leavens of Baxley
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, May 21 at the funeral home.
The family would like to invite everyone to a celebration of Ronnie's life on Saturday, May 24 at the family residence, 300 Whitfield Road, Elko beginning at 4 PM. PLEASE DRESS IN CASUAL ATTIRE.
