Ronald A. Reed

Ronald A. Reed, age 74, of 14245 Highway 41 North, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Montezuma, he was the son of the late Anderson Reed and Mary Langston Reed.  Ronald loved his Lord and his family.  He was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for over 50 years.  He also helped spread God's message in song as a member of Brothers By Grace.  He always supported his family in whatever they were doing.  He especially supported his children at Fullington Academy and was named "Fan of the Year" in 2003.  He also loved playing softball and cooking.  Ronald was a Mason for over 50 years and was a member of Millwood Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include: Wife:  Edwina B. Reed of Pinehurst

Children: Rhonda Campbell (Randall) of Pinehurst Amy Bush (Lee) of Unadilla Mark Reed (Paige) of Pinehurst Jim Reed (Gina) of Marietta

Sister:  Jan Preston (Jeffrey) of Unadilla

Sister-in-law: Kay Reed of Bishop

Grandchildren: Tyler Harpe Kayla Harpe Reed Harpe (Bailey) Luke Campbell Tiffany Barfield (Kyle) Tyler Campbell Austin McIntyre (Amber) Lauren McIntyre Jordan McIntyre Ryan Reed Rylee Reed

Great Grandchildren:  7

Several niece and nephews also survive.

He is also survived by his honorary brother, Lonnie Clayton.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Benjamin "Ben" Reed, his grandchild, Emily Campbell and his fur baby, Prissy.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, June 8 in Pinehurst Baptist Church with interment in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
