Rodney G. Fowler

Rodney G. Fowler, age 72, of 1691 Highway 90, Vienna, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Carlton Fowler and Vera Andrews Fowler.  Rodney retired from Brannen Motor Company in Unadilla after 32 years of service as service and parts manager.  He also retired from the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department after 25 years of service.  Rodney loved fishing but the greatest joy in his life was his four grandchildren.  He was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Wife: Frances S. Fowler of Vienna

Son:  Jason Fowler (Amy) of Milledgeville

Daughters: Angie Cawthon (Trey) of Vienna Julie Wright (Bradley) of Vienna

Sister:  Carlene Penney (John) of Vienna

Grandchildren:  Christian Fowler, Samantha Fowler, Lanie Wright and Olivia Cawthon

Nieces/Nephews:  Several

Graveside services will be at 11 AM Friday, May 14 in Vienna City Cemetery. Rev. Larry Wilbanks will officiate and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will render honors.

The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Thursday, May 13 at the funeral home.
