Robert Smith

Robert Smith, age 60, of 1365 Bryant Road, Vienna, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at his residence.<br><br>Born in Muscogee County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Luther Smith and Sybil Strickland Smith, was a member of Drayton Baptist Church and a truck driver. He had lived in the Drayton Community for the past 7 months, moving from Sylvester.<br><br>Survivors include:<br>Wife: Victoria Smith of Vienna<br><br>Daughter: Cindy Deperro of Dothan, AL<br><br>Sons: Robert Dwayne Smith of Dawson<br>Richard C. Smith of Leesburg<br>Robert Chalk Smith of Cordele<br>Tyron Smith of Dawson<br><br>Brother: James Smith of Doerun<br><br>Grandchildren: 7<br>Great Grandchildren: 2<br><br>Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in Drayton Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Vaughan will officiate and burial will follow in Collier Cemetery.<br><br>The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Wednesday, April 21 at the funeral home.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd. Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852 or to Drayton Baptist Church Medical Fund for Robert Smith, c/o Bank of Dooly, PO Box 365 Vienna, GA 31092.<br><br>Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
