Robert D. Sherrod

Robert D. Sherrod, age 68, of Rochelle, died Sunday at his residence.

Born in Tallulah, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Albert Edward Sherrod and Minnie Jane Bradley Sherrod. He was a US Army veteran and the former owner of Cotton Picker Rebuilders. Mr. Sherrod was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of D. H. Reynolds Lodge
#563, the American Legion and a Shriner.

John Sherrod of Chicago, IL
Jerry Sherrod of Little Rock, AR

Grandchildren: Alex Sherrod, Mississippi Sherrod, Griffin Sherrod, Shay Sherrod, Caleb Felts, Rachel Brady, Logan Boutwell and Anslee Boutwell

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by a sister, Joann McBride.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Friday, November 13 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.

The family will greet friends following the service.
