Reuben L. Collins

Reuben L. Collins, age 79, of 10860 Highway 215, Vienna, died Friday, June 13, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Rubin Lee Collins and Hattie Mae Collins Revell.  He worked for Arabi Feed and Grain in Arabi and was a member of Fish Baptist Church in Seville.  Reuben enjoyed hunting, racing and riding his tractor.

He is survived by his son, Robert Collins of Warner Robins; his daughter-in-law, Michelle Collins of Cordele; his brothers, L. E. Collins of Monroe, Royce Collins of Cordele and Danny Collins of Vienna; his grandchildren, Sarah-Ann Hopper (Russ) and Jared Collins; his great grandchildren, Cora Hopper, Jeffrey Hopper and Cecilia Hopper.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Collins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and caregivers of Crisp Regional Hospital, Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehab and Crisp Regional Hospice for the excellent care provided to Reuben.
