Rena B. Staples

Rena B. Staples, age 87, of Unadilla, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Henry Medical Center in McDonough.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late John Rastus Barron and Sibbie Lassiter Barron. She was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church, a homemaker and the widow of Russell "Buddy" Staples. She had also worked at Oxford Industries in Unadilla.

Sister: Anne Everette of Pinehurst

Brother: Ray Barron of Perry

Grandchildren: 2

Great Grandchildren: 3

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 16 in Unadilla United Methodist Church. Rev. Donald Combs will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, February 15 at the funeral home.
