Reed Jarrett Everett

May 15, 1996 — January 25, 2021

Reed Jarrett Everett, age 24, of 35 McCorvey Road, Unadilla, died Monday, January 25, 2021, at the Medical Center-Navicent Health in Macon.

Reed was born on May 15, 1996 in Warner Robins and was a graduate of Fullington Academy.  Reed worked at Barrington Dairies and with his father and sister on the family farm. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and of course on the tractor farming.  Infinite hours were spent farming but it's what he loved doing the most.  He cared dearly for his family, friends and his Great Dane, Bo and all other family pets.  Reed was a very caring, humble and hard-working man.

Survivors include: Mother and Step-Father:  Brenda and Dennis Hudson of Unadilla

Father:  Jarrett Everett of Montezuma

Sisters: Jana Everett of Montezuma Heather Beasley (Cory) of Cecil

Step Sister:  Taylor Hudson of North Carolina

Step-Brothers: Cory Hudson (Stephanie) of Unadilla Kyle Hudson of Calhoun Kody Hudson (Amber) of Pineview

Maternal Grandfather:  Ed  Sanders (Shirley) of Eastman

Paternal Grandmother:  Faye Oleshak of Perry

Niece:  Shelby Lynn Stanfield of Cecil

Nephew:  Reese Sullivan of Cecil

Step-Nephews: Lance Hudson of Unadilla Nathan Hudson of Unadilla Jaxon Hudson of Pineview

Several uncles, aunts and cousins also survive.

He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kennedy Simpson of Pinehurst

Reed was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jan Sanders and his paternal grandfather, Earle Jarrett Everett, Jr.

A celebration of Reed's life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 30.  The celebration will take place on the family farm in Macon County.  Please go to 4942 Fields Crossing Road, Montezuma and then follow the signs.  A meal will be provided after the service for everyone.  In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, please remember to socially distance and masks are recommended.
