Raymond W. Lindsey

Raymond W. Lindsey, age 71, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, December 17, 2005, at his residence.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Benonnie Lindsey. a US Air Force veteran and retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Survivors include:
Wife: Videne Lewis Lindsey of Jonesboro

Daughter: Gail Hensarling of Jonesboro

Sons: Steve Lindsey of Jonesboro
Phillip Lindsey of Bonifay, FL

Mother: Bertha Lindsey of Unadilla

Brother: Tommy Lindsey of Unadilla

Grandchildren: Jeremy Sego, Rebecca Sego, Elizabeth Hensarling and Cameron Lindsey

Great Grandchild: Emily Sego

His brothers, Harry Lindsey, William "Pete" Lindsey and George Lindsey, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 20 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. Rev. Cham White will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends at Pope Dickson & Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro on Sunday, December 18 from 4 - 6 PM.

The family will greet friends at Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in Unadilla on Monday, December 19 from 6 - 8 PM.
