Raymond S. Bryant, age 89, of 120 County Line Road, Unadilla, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Leisure Life in Unadilla.
Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Paris Lee Bryant and Essie Mims Bryant. A World War II combat veteran, he served this nation with honor and distinction as a medic in General Patton's 3rd Army, 4th Division. He was involved in some of Europe's heaviest fighting including the Battle of the Bulge and Germany's Black Forest.
Following the war, he returned to Unadilla and eventually opened Bryant's Machine Shop and operated it until he retired. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Lee Bryant, his son, Ricky Lee Bryant and his wife, Kathryn Everett Bryant.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 2 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. The committal service with military honors will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
