C. Ray Eiford, age 88, of Vienna, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in New Boston, Ohio he was the son of the late Jacob Eiford and Rose McCullah Eiford. Ray was known everywhere for his friendliness and outpouring of love for people. He served for many years as Transportation Director and Food Services Director for Dooly County Schools. He was a retired Methodist minister and pastored several churches in the area. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, John Eiford, and his wife, Opal Eiford.
He adored his family!
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Saturday, June 25 in Shiloh United Methodist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, June 24 at the funeral home.
