Walter Preston Dorminy, age 82, of 2923 Old Pinehurst Road, Pinehurst, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, in Hawkinsville.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Walter Dorminy and Retha Waggoner Dorminy. He was US Army veteran and a retired mechanic.

Brother-in-law: Marvin Lacy of Columbus
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Lacy Dorminy and his brothers, Lonnie Dorminy and Quentin Dorminy.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 1 in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
