Phyllis R. (Barrett) Childers

Phyllis R. Childers, age 70, of Vienna, died Saturday, April 27, 2019, in Lilly at the home of her niece.

Born in Sylvester, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Horace Barrett and Lois Holley Barrett.  She loved fishing and watching NASCAR, but her heart and soul was her family.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Horace Barrett and Joe Barrett, her sister, Doris Jones and her husband, Larry Clay "Buddy" Childers.

Survivors include: Children: Deborah Lynn Wright (Mike Langston) of Montezuma Zane Childers (Jennifer) of Ocilla Damon Daniels of Vienna

Sister:  Louise Rogers (Alfred) of Vienna

Grandchildren: Dustin Langston of Vienna Maddox Daniels of Vienna Clay Childers of Ocilla Logan Brooke Freeman (Childers) of Douglas Katie Belle Tucker of Ocilla Daisy Tucker of Ocilla

Great Grandchildren:  3

Sisters-in-law: Carol Barrett of Denver, NC Faye Childers Jowers of Fitzgerald

Companion:  Bobby Daniels of Vienna

A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11am Friday, May 3 at Friendship Cemetery in Pulaski County.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
