Peggy H. (Hudson) Cape

Peggy H. Cape, age 82, of 307 Charles Street, Vienna, died Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her residence, High Cotton Homes in Vienna.

Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lee Hudson and Vivian Wright Hudson.  Peggy was a beautician for many years.  She loved fishing and baking but her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandkids.

Survivors include: Sons: David Cape of Vienna Jody Cape (Susan) of Zephyr Hills, FL Danny Cape (Carol) of Cordele

Brother:  Tommy Hudson of Vienna

Grandchildren: Jessica Cape Rodgers of Cordele Haley Calhoun of Columbus Jonathan Cape of Richland Matthew Cape of Pinehurst Christie Shiflett of Ellaville Daniel Cape of Statesboro

Great Grandchildren: Kylie Rodgers, Lawson Rodgers, Joseph Shiflett, Kalynn Cape, Bryce Cape, Kenzie Cape, Hunter Calhoun, Caroline Calhoun, Clay Calhoun, Caleb Cape and Briggs Aldridge

Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Monday, March 20 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Phil Streetman officiating.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 1 PM to 2:30 PM Monday, March 20.
