Patricia Coleman Edwards, 72, of Jesup, Georgia passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 3, 2016.

She was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse.

Born December 25, 1943, to the late J. T. and Elizabeth Stubbs Coleman in Leslie, Ga. she was one of seven children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, J. T., Joe, Frank, and Marvin Coleman and sisters, Jane Davis and Barbara Stewart.

Survivors include:
Husband: Jerry J. Edwards of Jesup

Daughter: Rene Dove of Brunswick

Son: Christin Fowler of the USMC

Step-sons:
Kevin Edwards of Jesup
David (Anissa) Edwards of Ludowici
Timmy Edwards of Ludowici
Joey (Tammy) Edwards of Ludowici
Michael (David Crosby) Edwards of Quitman

Step-daughters:
Tina Blue of Ludowici
Mary (Chad) Carter of Ludowici

Grandchildren: 24

Great-grandchildren: 7

Special friends:
Helen Hulett and Janice Glenn

She is also survived by a loving golden retriever, Carly.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Jesup with Rev. Stanley Todd and Rev. Cliff Adams officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dooly County with Rev. John Penney officiating.

Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Heartland Hospice.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 P. M. Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home in Jesup.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup and Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna have charge of arrangements.
