Ola Mae Brannen

Ola Mae Brannen, age 92, of Borum Street, Unadilla, died Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Montezuma Health Care Center.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Bumpus and Sally Thompson Bumpus. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church for over 70 years. Mrs. Brannen was a devoted wife to her husband of 66 years, Walter Hamilton "Hamp" Brannen who died in 2004. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed growing flowers.

Daughter: Betsy Brannen Griffin of Montezuma

Sons: Dr. Walter Gerald Brannen of Fayetteville, NC
Ray Hamilton Brannen of Macon
Royce Calvin Brannen of Unadilla

Grandchildren: 14

Great Grandchildren: 13

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 11 in County Line Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall 1 - 2:30 PM Saturday prior to the service.
