Nina Jo Penfield, age 76, of 6776 Tippettville Road, Vienna, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, in Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in Blue Springs, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James Pope and Kate Thompson Pope. She was a member of Tippettville Baptist Church, a retired teacher and librarian and was the widow of Earl Penfield.
Survivors are several nieces and nephews including:

Mary Jo Cruz of Vienna
Jerry Cruz of Vienna
Terry Collins of Thomasville
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 10 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Rev. Harold Sangster, Rev. Royce Gibbs and Rev. Billy Forrest will officate and burial will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7:30 - 9:00 PM Friday, April 9 at the funeral home.
