Nancy Bowen

Nannie Belle 'Nancy' Bowen, age 87, of 2255 Posey Road, Unadilla, died Monday, December 23, 2002, at Cherry Blossom Health Care Center in Macon, Georgia.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Rainey Scroggins and Mabel Chancey Scroggins. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and was formerly employed as a Dietician with the Pulaski County School System. She was the widow of Ernest Bowen and had lived in Dooly County most of her life.

Jean Dougherty of Macon
Vashti Edwards of Macon
Grandchildren: 2
Great Grandchildren: 5

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 26 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Dr. Bob Murphy will officiate and pallbearers will be G. L. Arflin, James Dupree, Charles Speight, J. T. Thompson, Frank Giles and Joe Preston. Interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
