Myra L. Lewis

Myra Leonard Lewis, age 94, of Lilly, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Born in Due West, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Mack Leonard and Madge Tucker Leonard. Myra graduated from South Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Columbia worked as a registered nurse at Telfair Hospital in Savannah. In 1977, she moved to Lilly with her husband, Tom. She was a member of Lilly United Methodist Church, the UMW and the PTA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lewis, her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Aleta Kindler Lewis and her daughter, "Snookie" Myra Muriel.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, March 12 in Lilly United Methodist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, March 11 at the funeral home.
