Monty Ray Belcher, age 77, of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Monty was born in Inverness, Florida to the late Cecil Belcher and Billie Kinser Belcher and was a member of the 1965 graduating class of Pasco County High School. He served his country with honor in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 and was stationed in Germany. In 2010, he retired as a sander operator from Georgia Pacific Particle Board after 30 years of service. He was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and an avid archer, hunter and fisherman.

Daughters: Monica Belcher Irwin of Vienna Melissa Belcher of Vienna
Brother: Michael Belcher of Lacoochee, FL
Grandchildren: Jerrett Irwin Culpepper (Nick) of Bethpage, TN Jantzen Irwin of Cordele Madilynn Thompson of Vienna
Great Grandson: Montgomery Sessions Culpepper of Bethpage, TN
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
His beloved dog, Marvin, also survives.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marci Rae Belcher Thompson.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 13 in Vienna City Cemetery with Rev. Brian Cason and Rev. Brian Leverett officiating.
The family will greet friends 1:30 - 2:00 PM at the cemetery prior to the service and may be contacted at the residence, 802 North Third Street, Vienna.
