Minnie Jean Dupree

Minnie Jean Dupree, age 75, of Unadilla, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Seago and Maggie Draughon Seago. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and the Ruth Sunday School Class. Mrs. Dupree was a loving person who cared about others, especially the many children she kept in her home for years.

Dennis Dupree (Barbara Shugart) of Montezuma
Mary Ann Parker (Lonnie) of Unadilla
Margie Layfield (Kenny) of Unadilla

Brother: Fred Seago of Perry

Grandchildren: 8

Great Grandchildren: 11

Her son, Lamar Dupree, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, April 5 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 PM Saturday, April 4 at the funeral home.
