Mildred A. Thompson, age 90, of Macon, died Thursday, October 2, 2003, in a Macon nursing home.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Abbott and Lena Christmas Abbott. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tifton and was retired from the Coastal Plains Experiment Station where she was a secretary. She was the widow of Ernest Thompson and was preceded in death by her son, Larry Ernest Thompson and two sisters, Ruby A. Noble and Doris A. Patterson. She lived in Tifton most of her life.

Daughter: Glenda Starr (Jere) of Macon
Grandson: David Ernest Starr (Michelle) of Tennille
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 4 at Lane Cemetery near Vienna. Rev. Clay Bowden will officiate.
