Mildred Y. Lemmon

Mildred Y. Lemmon, age 87, of 345 East Third Street, Unadilla, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, in a Cordele nursing home.
Born in Houston County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Youngblood and Clara Grubbs Youngblood. She graduated from Unadilla High School and Georgia Business School in Macon and worked at Camp Wheeler in Macon and as a bookkeeper at the Exchange Bank in Unadilla. She was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and had taught Sunday School.

Her husband, Nicholas R. Lemmon preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 29 in Walnut Cemetery. Rev. Donald Combs will officiate.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, February 28 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unadilla UMC, c/o Christine Collins, 9365 Third District Road, Unadilla, GA 31091.
