Mildred (Morris) Kitchens

Mildred M. Kitchens, age 97, of Cordele, died Monday, February 25, 2019, at Fellowship Manor in Cordele.

Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Homer Morris and Elizabeth Sandefur Morris.  She was the oldest member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a member of the WMU.  Mrs. Kitchens retired from Production Credit Association as an administrative assistant.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, I. L. Bowen and Sam Kitchens.

Survivors include: Children: Lowell Bowen (Joy) of Buford Gene Bowen (Barbara) of Warner Robins Marjorie Kinard (W. C.) of Pelham

Sister:  Ruth Cason of Vienna

Grandchildren:  11 Great Grandchildren:  26 Great Great Grandchildren:  18

Special Friend:  Shirley Patterson of Cordele

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, February 28 in Liberty Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, February 27 at the funeral home.
