Michael E. Mathews

Michael E. Mathews, age 58, of 3925 Franklin Road, Vienna, died Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his residence.

Michael was born in Warner Robins on January 23, 1968 and was a mechanic and a truck driver.  He was a hard worker and was a true hero to his kids. Michael was a wonderful husband, father and brother who loved his family and always put their needs first.  He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help anyone he could.

Grandchildren:  Silas Mathews and Jade Mixon

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ratterree Mathews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, February 17 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in the Mathews Family Cemetery.  Rev. Kenny Croft will officiate.

The family will greet friends 5 - 7 pm Monday, February 16 at the funeral home.
