Michael E. Cox, age 45, of 820 Parham Road, Vienna, died Monday, October 5, 2009, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Born in Crisp County, he was the son of the late Billy Foster Cox. Michael was the former owner of Cox Tire World, a truck driver and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Wife: Nancy P. Cox of Vienna
Daughter: Amber Lynn Cox of Vienna
Mother: Ann Cox of Cordele
Sister: Michelle Smith of Cordele
Brother: Mitchell Cox of Cordele
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, October 8 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, October 7 at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to Shiloh UMC, 313 Church Street, Vienna, GA 31092.
