Melvin L. Wright

Melvin Wright, age 70, of 304 Azalea Circle, Vienna, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Bleckley County, he was the son of the late Lee Wright and Katie Davis Wright. He was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Company. Melvin was a member of the Coffee Club, loved playing golf and was a strong supporter of Fullington Academy
athletics.

Wife: Claudia L. Wright of Vienna

Daughter: Susan Lee Robertson (Tim) of Redondo Beach, CA

Brother: J. D. Wright (Shirley) of Cochran

Sisters: Florene Anderson of Chester
Bessie Bryant of Cochran
Doris Killebrew (Johnny) of Warner Robins
Fay Bryant (Foster Goff) of Cochran
Ruby Killebrew (George) of Lakeland, FL

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday in Vienna First Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 – 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
