Maynard D. Cross, age 78, of 6370 Calhoun Road, Unadilla, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late J. C. Cross and Myrtle Lovett Cross. He was a US Army veteran, a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and retired from Robins Air Force Base.

Wife: Mary Jo Cross of Unadilla

Glenn Cross of Unadilla
Scott Cross (Holly) of Perry
Sister: Melba Sheppard of Warner Robins
Brother: Dennis Cross of Unadilla
Grandchildren: 2
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, September 30 in Smyrna Baptist Church with interment at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, September 29 at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 319 Margie Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
