Mary Mashburn Scarborough

Mary Mashburn Scarborough, age 89, of 276 Mashburn Store Road, Unadilla, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at her residence.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late W. D. Mashburn and Carrie Peavy Mashburn. She had worked at Robins AFB. Mrs. Scarborough was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and loved her family and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Julia Elmore and her siblings, Virgie Floyd of Cochran, Gene Mashburn of Hawkinsville, Pat Mashburn of Pinehurst and Helen Roundtree of Tifton.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, February 15 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, February 14 at the funeral home.
