Mary Rucker

Mary Rucker, age 83, of Elko, died Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville.

Born in Grovania, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Hamsley and Alice Glenn Hamsley. She was a homemaker and a member of Double Branch Free Will Baptist Church. She loved flowers, gardening, reading and music. Her greatest love was her family to whom she was truly devoted.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Rucker and her siblings, Nell Shipes, Kenneth Hamsley, Frank Hamsley, Herman Hamsley, Carolyn Vitale, Bob Hamsley, Horace Hamsley and her son-in-law, Marvin Ragan.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, December 7 in Double Branch Free Will Baptist Church with interment in Browndale Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 4 - 6 PM Sunday, December 6 at the funeral home.
