Mary Loriane Gilbert

Mary Loriane Gilbert, age 83, of Byromville, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008.
Born in Oneonta, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late William H. Reeves and Laura Phillips Reeves. She was a Homemaker, a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and the AARP. Mrs. Gilbert was an amazing woman who was a Grandma to everybody.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter,
June Smith (Ron) of Cumming; a son, Ronnie Drake of Cordele; step-sons, Terry Gilbert (Doreen) of Tallahassee, FL and Norman Gilbert of Ideal; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Drake of Cordele; a brother, Lester Reeves (Billie) of Oneonta, AL; two sisters, Genevieve Walker (Grady) of Oneonta, AL and Imogene Walker (Marvin) of Birmingham, AL; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Luther Gilbert, Jr., a son, Hubert R. Drake and a grandson, Clayton Olvey.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 20 in Vienna First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, December 19 at the funeral home.
