Mary R. Branch, age 53, of Pinehurst, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at her residence.
Mary was born in Dooly County on January 27, 1953 to Amos Snelling Roberts and Kathryn Wilson Roberts. She was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church and was very active in numerous civic activities including Vienna Better Hometown and the Vienna Historic Preservation Society. She had also worked in banking for over 30 years.

Brother: Bill Roberts of Reseda, CA
Sisters: Patsy R. Ponder (Gary) of Lilburn
Diane R. Cooper (Tom) of Pembroke Pines, FL
Carol R. Yeager (Gary) of Newnan
Granddaughter: Erin Hipp of Birmingham, AL
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 3 in Pinehurst Baptist Church. Rev. Freddy Hogg will officiate and burial will follow in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Sunday, April 2 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pinehurst Baptist Church, PO Box 157 Pinehurst, GA 31070 or the American Heart Association, c/o Betty Warbington 3200 Tippettville Road, Vienna, GA 31092.
