Marvin T. Fowler

Marvin Fowler, age 79, of 217 Payne Road, Vienna, died Friday, August 17, 2012, at his residence.

Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late Calvin T. Fowler and Velonia Downs Fowler. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Congregational Holiness Church and loved music and fishing. Mr. Fowler retired from Ebba Iron and was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva M. Fowler.

Daughter: Judy Akin (Daniel) of Vienna

Sons:
Ronald Fowler (Susan) of Arabi
Gary Fowler (Linda) of Cordele

Sister: Alice Faye Martin of Rochelle

Grandchildren: 8
Great Grandchildren: 18

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, August 19 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Saturday, August 18 at the funeral home.
