Marvin G. Bowen

Marvin G. Bowen, age 51, of 845 Bowen Road, Pinehurst, died Friday, February 9, 2018, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Floyd Bowen and Jacquelyn Lewis Bowen.  Marvin was a paramedic with Dooly County EMS, a volunteer fireman with the Vienna and Pinehurst Volunteer Fire Departments and served as Coroner of Dooly County.  He was a member of the Open Door Assembly in Arabi.  He enjoyed cutting grass and vacationing in the mountains but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

Survivors include: Wife:  Lisa D. Bowen of Pinehurst

Son:  Joshua Marvin Bowen (Charity) of Vienna

Brother:  Steve Bowen of Pinehurst

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, February 11 in Vienna United Methodist Church with interment in Lane Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Saturday, February 10 at the funeral home.
