Martha J. Shelton

Martha J. "Nita" Shelton, age 80, of 480 Tri-County Road, Vienna, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at her residence.

Born in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Byron W. and Martha Boyd Croft. She was a homemaker and a member of Tippettville Baptist Church, where she was the church organist.

Daughter-in-law: Ilona Smith of Warner Robins

Brother: Zed Croft (Dorothy) of St. Cloud, FL

Grandchildren: 10
Great Grandchildren: 9

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. J. Shelton and her son, H. Garrison Smith.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, September 4 in Tippettville Baptist Church with interment in Tippettville Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, September 2 at the funeral home.
