Martha Jean Golmitz, age 69, of 2221 Lilly Road, Vienna, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Palmyra Medical Center in Albany.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late James Howard Dorough and Margaret Elizabeth Boyd Dorough. She was a member of Lilly United Methodist Church and a retired nurse.
Survivors include:
Daughter-in-law: Marianne Golmitz of Macon
Grandchildren: Kees Golmitz of Macon
Chris Golmitz of Macon
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Golmitz and her sons, Jimmy and Jeff Golmitz.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, May 26 in Lilly United Methodist Church with interment in Sangster-Dorough Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 9:30 - 11 AM Wednesday, May 26 at the funeral home.
