Mark S. Barron

Mark S. Barron, age 66, of 514 Seminole Street, Perry, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Perry Hospital.

Mark was born in Vienna to Floyce Brown Barron and the late Ray Barron and retired from the Perry Fire Department.  He enjoyed supporting the Atlanta Braves, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons.  Mark also enjoyed running and playing tennis and disc golf.

Survivors include: Wife: Gerri H. Barron of Perry

Sons: Brad Barron of Perry Will Barron of Perry

Daughter:  Beth Barron of Smyrna

Mother:  Floyce B. Barron of Perry

Brother:  Lindy Barron (Lisa) of Unadilla

Sister:  Bonnie Tyson of Chattanooga, TN

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 29 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Sunday, January 28 at the funeral home.

The family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
