Marion Jones, age 75, of 3277 Highway 41 Elko, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Houston County, he was the son of the late Curtis Jones and Louise Lindsey Jones. Mr. Jones served in the United States Navy for 23 years, including the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked as a security guard and loved bass fishing. Mr. Jones was a loyal American who was truly devoted to his country.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Thursday, April 22 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Interment with full military honors will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 7 - 9 PM Wednesday, April 21 at the funeral home.
