Marion H. Hobbs

Marion H. Hobbs, age 80, of 2448 Donald Avenue in Macon, died Saturday, November 11, 2006, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Born in Byromville, she was the daughter of the late James Clyde Harpe and Daisy Yarborough Harpe. She was a Methodist and retired from Snelling and Snelling Employment Agency in Macon where she was an employment counselor. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Harpe of Warner Robins, Harry Harpe of Chattanooga, TN and Billy Harpe of Lilly. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Watson of Atlanta, Thelma Lytle of Vienna, Elizabeth Summerford of Edison and Dorothy Harpe of Byromville.

Daughters: Donna Wallace of Macon
Lisa Hobbs of Macon

Brother: Calvin Harpe of Edison

Grandchildren: 5

Great Grandchildren: 1

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 14 in Swearingen Cemetery near Byromville.

The family will meet at the funeral home at 1:30 PM Tuesday or may be contacted at the residence, 2448 Donald Avenue, Macon.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
