Marion F. (Faulk) Smith

Marion F. Smith, age 78, of 1095 Kent Smith Road, Pinehurst, died Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Homer Faulk and Elsie Bivins Faulk.  Marion helped her husband on their family farm for many years.  She took an active role in the operation and would even be seen driving a tractor.  She loved gardening and was especially proud of her roses and daylilies.  Above all else, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a member of Midway Independent Methodist Church.

Survivors include: Son:  Mark Smith (Paula) of Pinehurst

Daughter:  Amy Boyer (Ken) of Forsyth

Sister-in-law:  Jeanne Kent of Pinehurst

Grandchildren: Quint Smith (Jordan Moseley) Daniel Boyer Mandy Smith (Kyle Angermeyer) Sarah Boyer

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Lamar Smith; her sister, Carolyn F. Thompson; her nephew, Lee Thompson and his family.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 12 in Forehand Cemetery with Rev. Reed Benson and Rev. Marilyn Tucker-Marek officiating.

The family may be contacted at the residence of Mark and Paula Smith, 976 Kent Smith Road, Pinehurst.

Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

The Smith family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Marion's caregivers, especially Ann Addison. for the loving care they provided.
