Marilyn H. (Holder) Goodroe

Marilyn H. Goodroe, age 81, of 1358 Vienna Highway, Hawkinsville, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her son's residence in Midland, Georgia.

Born in Hawkinsville, she was the daughter of the late Allen Holder and Virginia Sullivan Holder.  Mrs. Goodroe was a homemaker and had also worked as the office manager at Heart of Georgia Peanut in Hawkinsville.  She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and dedicated herself to missions both domestically and internationally.

Survivors include: Son:  Jason Goodroe (Kristie) of Midland

Daughter-in-law:  Tina Goodroe of Perry

Sisters: Janis Sparrow of Hawkinsville Carol Edge (Harry) of Forsyth

Grandchildren:  Cory Goodroe, Cole Goodroe, Sarah Gahnstrom (Chris) and Nyssa Goodroe

Great Grandchild:  Elias Gahnstrom

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Goodroe and her son, Justin Goodroe.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, March 2 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.

The family will greet friends 1 - 3 PM Saturday, March 2 at the church.
