Marie D. Welch, age 93, of 262 Horne Street, Pinehurst, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Leisure Life in Unadilla.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late George S. Daniels and Katie Morris Daniels and a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church. Mrs. Welch retired from Pinehill Nursing Center and Leisure Life Personal Care Home where she was a nurse's aide.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Clinton Welch, Jr.
Graveside services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, March 7 in Pinehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Gary Boyles officiating.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, March 6 at the funeral home or may be contacted at the residence, 4431 Pinehurst-Hawkinsville Highway, Pinehurst.
