Margaret E. Pope, age 71, of Unadilla, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Atlatia W. Speir and Ethel Rigsby Speir. She retired from Pineview Health Care Center where she was a CNA. Mrs. Pope was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William and W. C. Speir and her husband, Jimmy Pope.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 12 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, May 11 at the funeral home.
