Margaret P. Mitchell

Margaret P. Mitchell, age 72, of 1270 Priest Road, Vienna, died Thursday, August 31, 2006, at her residence.

Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late H. T. Purvis and Mary Lou Brown Purvis. She was a member of Tippettville Baptist Church, taught the Ladies Sunday School Class, served as church treasurer and sang in the choir. She was a CPA and income tax preparer and a partner in Brown and Mitchell Accounting in Centerville. Margaret was the widow of Bobby Lee Mitchell and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Daughter: Denise M. Craig of Savannah

Sons: Jerry Mitchell of Vienna
Thomas Mitchell of Vienna

Grandchildren: 10

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 2 in Tippettville Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Forrest and Rev. Harold Sangster will officiate and burial will follow in Tippettville Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, September 1 at the funeral home.
